Zerxus (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-assisted strength-training app and website. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. Questions: support@zerxus.com.
1. Information we collect
- Account: your email address and display name (provided by you, or by Sign in with Apple / Google).
- Training data: workouts, exercises, sets/reps/weights/RPE, programs and cycles, readiness check-ins, streaks, body stats (height, weight, age), and any goals, injuries, or health notes you enter.
- Nutrition data: foods you log, macro targets, and dietary preferences.
- Media you choose to upload: short lift videos or photos submitted for AI form-check feedback.
- Usage & device data: basic app/usage events and, if you enable them, push-notification tokens.
2. How we use it
To create and adapt your training programs, track progress, power the AI Coach and form-check, send workout reminders (if enabled), and operate and improve the service.
3. Third-party AI processing (Anthropic)
When you use the AI Coach or AI form-check, the message or media you submit — together with relevant training context (your logged workouts, lifts, body stats, readiness, and any profile/health notes) — is sent to our AI provider Anthropic, PBC (the “Claude” AI service) to generate a response. The app asks for your explicit consent in-app before any data is sent to the AI. Anthropic processes this data to return a result and does not use Zerxus API data to train its models. 4. Other service providers we share data with
- Hosting: Hostinger (stores your account and app data).
- Sign-in: Apple and Google (only to authenticate you).
- Payments: Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) and/or Stripe (web) process subscription payments; we do not store card details.
- Email: our email/audience system sends sign-in links and (if you opt in) updates.
- Push: Apple Push Notification service and standard Web Push, if you enable reminders.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention & your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent and removes your training, nutrition, progress, and profile data from our systems. You may also email us to request access or deletion.
6. Medical disclaimer
Zerxus provides general fitness and conditioning information and is not a medical service. The AI Coach does not provide medical advice; consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
7. Children
Zerxus is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
